SANCHEZVEGAS

Cecilia Sánchez Vegas is an accomplished artist with over twelve years of study and research in Pure Art, specializing in Sculpture and Painting. She studied at the School of Art Cristóbal Rojas and the School of Art in New York. Her work focuses on color and light, exploring their effects on vision, brain activity, and healing. Cecilia’s work revolves around the motifs of color and light, aimed at the arts and the reactions and stimuli they produce in our vision and brain activity. She explores the healing power of color, which, with its thousands of shades, can make subtle effects that are still not fully understood. These effects are part of energies that are intangible and hard to measure. Some scientists who understand the impact of color even implement color-puncture therapies for specific healings. These therapies can affect the cellular system, reactions in the brain, feelings, emotions, and instincts. Cecilia believes that color generates physical and mental changes and aids in developing creativity and rational, emotional, and holistic intelligence. She emphasizes the necessity for new generations to adapt to subtler life processes amidst an increasingly fast-paced world, advocating that color is one of the subtle forms needed for this adaptation.
